Get to know our founder.

Meet Katelyn. The founder. She lived in the west coast soaking in the sun-kissed beauty of California’s coast, where the easy elegance of West Coast living shaped her aesthetic. She’s always been drawn to the effortless luxury of the Mediterranean soft, neutral tones, organic textures, and a sense of serenity that comes with the tide. When she made the move back to the Midwest, Katelyn saw the chance to bring that laid-back coastal luxury to a place that craved a more relaxed yet refined vibe. She envisioned Wylde Salon as an escape: a space where the warm, sunlit ambiance of the coast meets the heart of the Midwest, offering a peaceful retreat with a touch of understated elegance. Every detail of Wylde, from its earthy tones to its natural textures, reflects Katelyn’s love for relaxed luxury—where style is effortless, and every visit feels like a mini vacation.
